Our team of cost clerks and draftsmen are all fully
trained in undertaking a detailed analysis of your
file of papers for the purposes of preparing accurate

In addition
to preparing unique, case specific bills of costs,
our draftsman will also provide an informed advice
upon settlement and identify any foreseeable problematic
areas that may have or are likely to arise. As is becoming
more popular with the courts, our team are also readily
available to prepare costs forecasts and estimates
as well as carrying out a full audit upon your files.
At the same time, your file of papers will always be
kept in good order and any missing documents immediately
identified. Our draftsman's ultimate aim is to seek
to optimise your profit costs within the shortest turnaround
time possible.
All
of our draftsmen are required to take part in ALCD accredited
training programmes and the necessary exams. Our depth
of knowledge and experience ranges from students of the
ALCD right through to Fellows of the Association of Law
Costs Draftsmen who have been involved in leading test
costs cases. In addition to the external training obtained
via the ALCD, all draftsmen are kept fully abreast of
current costs law by attending internal seminars provided
by our very own consultants and training team.
Costs Negotiators
Our expert team of negotiators are fully versed in providing a detailed evaluation

Upon receipt of a file, a full review is immediately undertaken,
checks are made for appropriate supporting documentation, detailed calculations
carried out and a suitable advice provided. Following identifying areas of disagreement,
negotiations are actively ensued as per the client's requirements. On all matters,
the client is kept fully up to date on both the progress of the case and any
potential areas of concern. Our costs negotiators will pursue the case all the
way to securing the settlement cheque, or progress the matter through the necessary
steps for determination by way of detailed assessment.
All

Advocacy Team
Our advocacy team are fully trained and experienced in dealing with all matters
post commencement of Detailed Assessment proceedings. >>MORE
They are all experienced
draftsmen and members of the ALCD. They are able to competently prepare Points
of dispute, Replies, carry out pre - assessments, prepare and advise upon part
47 offers, attend Detailed Assessments, provide detailed advices and reports
and liaise with costs counsel and the relevant courts. They have a wide knowledge
of case law, relevant statutes and costs procedure.
All

Administration
The administration team are an integral part of our service.

Each member of
our team is fully trained on the relevant rules and procedural requirements
necessary to progress a case through the whole costs recovery process. The
team concentrate on preparing Part 8 applications, preparing Notice of Commencements,
ensuring required papers and documentation are present at the relevant stages,
lodging bills of costs, diarising and co-ordinating all important dates,
directions and hearings, chasing and dealing with all other general administration
duties and queries.
Courier
Our driver will pick up from most South East and London locations. A days
notice is usually required and we are happy to confirm that such service is free.
Case Management Team
All cases received are immediately logged in and tracked our unique case management
system. Our system has been specifically designed and developed to allow our
clients 24hr live web updates on all of their cases, to provide fully detailed
reports on both past, present and future costs recovery and to ensure that all
matters received are dealt with in a controlled and monitored environment. Specific
requirements and data storing facilities are available for our clients upon request. |
